1 Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the east came to Jerusalem,

4 and assembling all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born.

5 They told him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for so it is written by the prophet:

6 καὶ σὺ Βηθλέεμ, γῆ Ἰούδα, οὐδαμῶς ἐλαχίστη εἶ ἐν τοῖς ἡγεμόσιν Ἰούδα· ἐκ σοῦ γὰρ ἐξελεύσεται ἡγούμενος, ὅστις ποιμανεῖ τὸν λαόν μου τὸν Ἰσραήλ.

-예수님의 탄생 소식에 대한 반응

동방박사 : 경배하려고 먼 곳에서 귀한 물품을 가지고 옴, 기뻐함!

헤롯왕 : 찾아서 죽이려고 함.

대제사장, 서기관 : 관심 없음, 생각 없음.

-예수님의 탄생에 대한 사전 지식

동박박사 : 별을 보고 찾아왔으나 정확한 위치까지는 알지 못함 대략 90%정도

헤롯왕 : 모르고 있다가 뒷통수 맞음. (근데 뭐 아예 몰랐다고 할 수는 없을 것 같고... 10%?)

대제사장, 서기관 : 다 알고 있음. (100%)

-예수님의 탄생에 대한 나의 반응은?

동방박사 처럼 예수님께서 이 땅에 왕으로 오심을 기뻐하며 경배하고, 합당한 예물을 드리는 모습인가... 헤롯 같은 모습인가... 아니면 대제사장과 서기관(종교지도자들)의 모습인가...

종교지도자들의 모습을 나에게서 발견한다... 관심 없고, 생각 없음... 그냥 지식적인 내용으로 머무는 것... 

앎을 삶으로 나타내는 것... 그것이 어렵다... 오늘도 여전히 나의 모습을 보면 역겹기에... 오늘도 기도할 수 밖에...
