1 그 날에 모세의 책을 낭독하여 백성에게 들렸는데그 책에 기록하기를 암몬 사람과 모압 사람은 영영히 하나님의 회에 들어오지 못하리니0% 차이

1 בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא נִקְרָ֛א בְּסֵ֥פֶר מֹשֶׁ֖ה בְּאָזְנֵ֣י הָעָ֑ם וְנִמְצָא֙ כָּת֣וּב בּוֹ֔ אֲ֠שֶׁר לֹא־יָב֨וֹא עַמֹּנִ֧י וּמֹאָבִ֛י בִּקְהַ֥ל הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים עַד־עוֹלָֽם׃

2 이는 저희가 양식과 물로 이스라엘 자손을 영접지 아니하고 도리어 발람에게 뇌물을 주어 저주하게 하였음이라 그러나 우리하나님이 그 저주를 돌이켜 복이 되게 하셨 다 하였는지라0% 차이

2 כִּ֣י לֹ֧א קִדְּמ֛וּ אֶת־בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל בַּלֶּ֣חֶם וּבַמָּ֑יִם וַיִּשְׂכֹּ֨ר עָלָ֤יו אֶת־בִּלְעָם֙ לְקַֽלְלֹ֔ו וַיַּהֲפֹ֧ךְ אֱלֹהֵ֛ינוּ הַקְּלָלָ֖ה לִבְרָכָֽה׃

3 백성이 이 율법을 듣고 곧 섞인 무리를 이스라엘 가운데서 몰수히 분리케 하였느니라0% 차이

4 וְלִפְנֵ֣י מִזֶּ֔ה אֶלְיָשִׁיב֙ הַכֹּהֵ֔ן נָת֖וּן בְּלִשְׁכַּ֣ת בֵּית־אֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ קָר֖וֹב לְטוֹבִיָּֽה׃

5 도비야를 위하여 한 큰 방을 갖추었으니 그 방은 원래 소제물과 유향과 또 기명과 레위 사람들과 노래하는 자들과 문지기들에게 십일조로 주는 곡물과 새 포도주와 기름과 또 제사장들에게 주는 거제물을 두는 곳이라0% 차이

5 도비야를 위하여 한 큰 방을 만들었으니 그 방은 원래 소제물과 유향과 그릇과 또 레위 사람들과 노래하는 자들과 문지기들에게 십일조로 주는 곡물과 새 포도주와 기름과 또 제사장들에게 주는 거제물을 두는 곳이라7% 차이

5 prepared for Tobiah a large chamber where they had previously put the grain offering, the frankincense, the vessels, and the tithes of grain, wine, and oil, which were given by commandment to the Levites, singers, and gatekeepers, and the contributions for the priests.

5 and he had provided him with a large room formerly used to store the grain offerings and incense and temple articles, and also the tithes of grain, new wine and olive oil prescribed for the Levites, musicians and gatekeepers, as well as the contributions for the priests.

5 וַיַּ֨עַשׂ לוֹ֜ לִשְׁכָּ֣ה גְדוֹלָ֗ה וְשָׁ֣ם הָי֪וּ לְפָנִ֟ים נֹ֠תְנִים אֶת־הַמִּנְחָ֨ה הַלְּבוֹנָ֜ה וְהַכֵּלִ֗ים וּמַעְשַׂ֤ר הַדָּגָן֙ הַתִּיר֣וֹשׁ וְהַיִּצְהָ֔ר מִצְוַת֙ הַלְוִיִּ֔ם וְהַמְשֹׁרְרִ֖ים וְהַשֹּׁעֲרִ֑ים וּתְרוּמַ֖ת הַכֹּהֲנִֽים׃

6 그 때에는 내가 예루살렘에 있지 아니하였었느니라 바벨론 왕 아닥사스다 삼십이년에 내가 왕에게 나아갔다가 며칠 후에 왕에게 말미를 청하고0% 차이

7 and came to Jerusalem, and I then discovered the evil that Eliashib had done for Tobiah, preparing for him a chamber in the courts of the house of God.

7 and came back to Jerusalem. Here I learned about the evil thing Eliashib had done in providing Tobiah a room in the courts of the house of God.

7 וָאָב֖וֹא לִֽירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם וָאָבִ֣ינָה בָרָעָ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר עָשָׂ֤ה אֶלְיָשִׁיב֙ לְט֣וֹבִיָּ֔ה לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת לוֹ֙ נִשְׁכָּ֔ה בְּחַצְרֵ֖י בֵּ֥ית הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃

8 내가 심히 근심하여 도비야의 세간을 그 방 밖으로 다 내어 던지고0% 차이

8 And I was very angry, and I threw all the household furniture of Tobiah out of the chamber.

9 명하여 그 방을 정결케 하고 하나님의 전의 기명과 소제물과 유향을 다시 그리로 들여 놓았느니라0% 차이

9 Then I gave orders, and they cleansed the chambers, and I brought back there the vessels of the house of God, with the grain offering and the frankincense.

9 וָאֹ֣מְרָ֔ה וַֽיְטַהֲר֖וּ הַלְּשָׁכ֑וֹת וָאָשִׁ֣יבָה שָּׁ֗ם כְּלֵי֙ בֵּ֣ית הָאֱלֹהִ֔ים אֶת־הַמִּנְחָ֖ה וְהַלְּבוֹנָֽה׃ פ

10 내가 또 알아본즉 레위 사람들의 받을 것을 주지 아니하였으므로 그 직무를 행하는 레위 사람들과 노래하는 자들이 각각 그 전리로 도망하였기로0% 차이

10 I also found out that the portions of the Levites had not been given to them, so that the Levites and the singers, who did the work, had fled each to his field.

10 וָאֵ֣דְעָ֔ה כִּֽי־מְנָי֥וֹת הַלְוִיִּ֖ם לֹ֣א נִתָּ֑נָה וַיִּבְרְח֧וּ אִישׁ־לְשָׂדֵ֛הוּ הַלְוִיִּ֥ם וְהַמְשֹׁרְרִ֖ים עֹשֵׂ֥י הַמְּלָאכָֽה׃

11 내가 모든 민장을 꾸짖어 이르기를 하나님의 전이 어찌하여 버린바 되었느냐 하고 곧 레위 사람을 불러 모아 다시 그 처소에 세웠더니0% 차이

11 So I confronted the officials and said, “Why is the house of God forsaken?” And I gathered them together and set them in their stations.

12 이에 온 유다가 곡식과 새 포도주와 기름의 십일조를 가져다가 곳간에 들이므로0% 차이

13 내가 제사장 셀레먀와 서기관 사독과 레위 사람 브다야로 고지기를 삼고 맛다냐의 손자 삭굴의 아들 하난으로 버금을 삼았나니 이는 저희가 충직한 자로 인정됨이라 그 직분은 형제들에게 분배하는 일이었느니라0% 차이

13 내가 제사장 셀레먀와 서기관 사독과 레위 사람 브다야를 창고지기로 삼고 맛다냐의 손자 삭굴의 아들 하난을 버금으로 삼았나니 이는 그들이 충직한 자로 인정됨이라 그 직분은 형제들에게 분배하는 일이었느니라19% 차이

13 And I appointed as treasurers over the storehouses Shelemiah the priest, Zadok the scribe, and Pedaiah of the Levites, and as their assistant Hanan the son of Zaccur, son of Mattaniah, for they were considered reliable, and their duty was to distribute to their brothers.

13 I put Shelemiah the priest, Zadok the scribe, and a Levite named Pedaiah in charge of the storerooms and made Hanan son of Zakkur, the son of Mattaniah, their assistant, because they were considered trustworthy. They were made responsible for distributing the supplies to their fellow Levites.

13 וָאוֹצְרָ֣ה עַל־א֠וֹצָרוֹת שֶׁלֶמְיָ֨ה הַכֹּהֵ֜ן וְצָד֣וֹק הַסּוֹפֵ֗ר וּפְדָיָה֙ מִן־הַלְוִיִּ֔ם וְעַל־יָדָ֔ם חָנָ֥ן בֶּן־זַכּ֖וּר בֶּן־מַתַּנְיָ֑ה כִּ֤י נֶאֱמָנִים֙ נֶחְשָׁ֔בוּ וַעֲלֵיהֶ֖ם לַחֲלֹ֥ק לַאֲחֵיהֶֽם׃ פ

14 내 하나님이여 이 일을 인하여 나를 기억하옵소서 내 하나님의 전과 그 모든 직무를 위하여 나의 행한 선한 일을 도말하지 마옵소서0% 차이

14 Remember me, O my God, concerning this, and do not wipe out my good deeds that I have done for the house of my God and for his service.

-성전 공동체의 정체성 확립(13:1-9)

-성전 공동체의 의무, 십일조(10-14)

제사장이 암몬사람 도비아와 연락하는 사이었고… 그를 위하여 성전 안에 거처를 두고 잘 보살피면서도… 기없도 없고 땅도 없이 십일조와 헌물에 기대어 사는 레위인들은 외면하였다.

제사장이… 하나님의 말씀을 가장 잘 알고… 하나님과 가장 가까워야하는 그 제사장이…그러나 하나님의 말씀을 읽은 느헤미야는 이것이 잘못임을 깨닫고 과감하게 고쳐나간다.

말씀을 읽지 않으면 그 누구도 죄로부터 안전할 수 없다. 말씀을 읽는 사람은 그 누구라도 하나님의 뜻을 깨달을 수 있다.
