24 그 자손이 들어가서 땅을 차지하되 주께서 그 땅 가나안 거민으로 저희 앞에 복종케 하실 때에 가나안 사람과 그 왕들과 본토 여러 족속을 저희 손에 붙여 임의로 행하게 하시매0% 차이

25 저희가 견고한 성들과 기름진 땅을 취하고 모든 아름다운 물건을 채운 집과 파서 만든 우물과 포도원과 감람원과 허다한 과목을 차지하여 배불리 먹어 살찌고 주의 큰 복을 즐겼사오나0% 차이

26 저희가 오히려 순종치 아니하고 주를 거역하며 주의 율법을 등 뒤에 두고 주께로 돌아오기를 권면하는 선지자들을 죽여 크게 설만하게 행하였나이다0% 차이

27 그러므로 주께서 그들을 대적의 손에 넘기사 그들이 곤고를 당하게 하시매 그들이 환난을 당하여 주께 부르짖을 때에 주께서 하늘에서 들으시고 주의 크신 긍휼로 그들에게 구원자들을 주어 그들을 대적의 손에서 구원하셨거늘27% 차이

27 Therefore you gave them into the hand of their enemies, who made them suffer. And in the time of their suffering they cried out to you and you heard them from heaven, and according to your great mercies you gave them saviors who saved them from the hand of their enemies.

28 저희가 평강을 얻은 후에 다시 주 앞에서 악을 행하므로 주께서 그 대적의 손에 버려 두사 대적에게 제어를 받게 하시다가 저희가 돌이켜서 주께 부르짖으매 주께서 하늘에서 들으시고 여러번 긍휼을 발하사 건져내시고0% 차이

28 But after they had rest they did evil again before you, and you abandoned them to the hand of their enemies, so that they had dominion over them. Yet when they turned and cried to you, you heard from heaven, and many times you delivered them according to your mercies.

29 다시 주의 율법을 복종하게 하시려고 경계하셨으나 저희가 교만히 행하여 사람이 준행하면 그 가운데서 삶을 얻는 주의 계명을 듣지 아니하며 주의 규례를 범하여 고집하는 어깨를 내어밀며 목을 굳게 하여 듣지 아니하였나이다0% 차이

29 And you warned them in order to turn them back to your law. Yet they acted presumptuously and did not obey your commandments, but sinned against your rules, which if a person does them, he shall live by them, and they turned a stubborn shoulder and stiffened their neck and would not obey.

29 וַתָּ֨עַד בָּהֶ֜ם לַהֲשִׁיבָ֣ם אֶל־תּוֹרָתֶ֗ךָ וְהֵ֨מָּה הֵזִ֜ידוּ וְלֹא־שָׁמְע֤וּ לְמִצְוֹתֶ֨יךָ֙ וּבְמִשְׁפָּטֶ֣יךָ חָֽטְאוּ־בָ֔ם אֲשֶׁר־יַעֲשֶׂ֥ה אָדָ֖ם וְחָיָ֣ה בָהֶ֑ם וַיִּתְּנ֤וּ כָתֵף֙ סוֹרֶ֔רֶת וְעָרְפָּ֥ם הִקְשׁ֖וּ וְלֹ֥א שָׁמֵֽעוּ׃

30 그러나 주께서 여러 해 동안 용서하시고 또 선지자로 말미암아 주의 신으로 저희를 경계하시되 저희가 듣지 아니하므로 열방 사람의 손에 붙이시고도0% 차이

32 “Now, therefore, our God, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God, who keeps covenant and steadfast love, let not all the hardship seem little to you that has come upon us, upon our kings, our princes, our priests, our prophets, our fathers, and all your people, since the time of the kings of Assyria until this day.

-가나안 땅에서의 불순종과 하나님의 은혜 (9:23-31)

    이스라엘 백성들은 하나님께서 약속하신 가나안 땅에 입성한 후 배교와 불순종으로 하나님 앞에 끊임없이 죄를 지었다. 하나님이 베푸신 구원의 은혜를 잊고 다른 신을 섬기는 패역한 길을 걸어갔다. 그런데도 긍휼이 풍성하신 하나님께서는 은혜를 베푸셔서 그들에게 선지자를 보내시고, 때로는 경책하시며 그들을 세워가셨다.

-회복에 대한 청원과 공동체의 죄에 대한 고백 (9:32-38)

    레위인들은 이스라엘의 실패의 원인을 두가지로 요약한다. 첫째는 이스라엘이 율법을 버리고 하나님을 거역했다는 것이다(34절). 둘째 원인은 하나님께서 베푸신 은혜를 잊어버린 것이다(35절). 하나님의 은혜를 망각하는 것이 결국 이스라엘 타락의 시작이다. 따라서 하나님께서 베푸신 구원의 은혜를 기억하고, 그것을 마음에 세기는 것이 중요하겠다.

    나의 삶을 되돌아 보았을 때, 나 역시 이스라엘 백성들 처럼 배교와 불순종으로 하나님 앞에 끊임 없이 죄를 짓고 있었음을…. 그럼에도 불구하고 하나님께서 베푸신 은혜로 여기까지 올 수 있었음음 고백할 수 밖에 없다.

    나의 삶의 여러 문제들의 원인도 결국 “율법을 버린 것” (말씀을 읽지 않고, 말씀대로 살지 않는 것)과 주님의 은혜를 잊고 사는 것으로 귀결되는 것 같다. 

    말씀을 읽자! 말씀대로 살자! 주님의 은혜를 늘 기억하고 감사하자!
