예레미야 42:15

KRV 너희 유다의 남은 자여 이제 여호와의 말씀을 들으라 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말씀하시되 너희가 만일 애굽에 들어가서 거기 거하기로 고집하면0% 차이

NIV then hear the word of the LORD, you remnant of Judah. This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: ‘If you are determined to go to Egypt and you do go to settle there,

KRV 너희의 두려워하는 칼이 애굽 땅으로 따라가서 너희에게 미칠 것이요 너희의 두려워하는 기근이 애굽으로 급히 따라가서 너희에게 임하리니 너희가 거기서 죽을 것이라0% 차이

NIV then the sword you fear will overtake you there, and the famine you dread will follow you into Egypt, and there you will die.

ESV then the sword that you fear shall overtake you there in the land of Egypt, and the famine of which you are afraid shall follow close after you to Egypt, and there you shall die.

KRV 무릇 애굽으로 들어가서 거기 우거하기로 고집하는 모든 사람은 이같이 되리니 곧 칼과 기근과 염병에 죽을 것인즉 내가 그들에게 내리는 재앙을 벗어나서 남을 자 없으리라0% 차이

NIV Indeed, all who are determined to go to Egypt to settle there will die by the sword, famine and plague; not one of them will survive or escape the disaster I will bring on them.’

NKRV 무릇 애굽으로 들어가서 거기에 머물러 살기로 고집하는 모든 사람은 이와 같이 되리니 곧 칼과 기근과 전염병에 죽을 것인즉 내가 그들에게 내리는 재난을 벗어나서 남을 자 없으리라24% 차이

ESV All the men who set their faces to go to Egypt to live there shall die by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence. They shall have no remnant or survivor from the disaster that I will bring upon them.

KRV 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말씀하시되 나의 노와 분을 예루살렘 거민에게 부은 것 같이 너희가 애굽에 이른 때에 나의 분을 너희에게 부으리니 너희가 가증함과 놀램과 저주와 치욕거리가 될 것이라 너희가 다시는 이 땅을 보지 못하리라 하시도다0% 차이

NIV This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: ‘As my anger and wrath have been poured out on those who lived in Jerusalem, so will my wrath be poured out on you when you go to Egypt. You will be a curse and an object of horror, a curse and an object of reproach; you will never see this place again.’

ESV “For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: As my anger and my wrath were poured out on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so my wrath will be poured out on you when you go to Egypt. You shall become an execration, a horror, a curse, and a taunt. You shall see this place no more.

NASB95 For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, “As My anger and wrath have been poured out on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so My wrath will be poured out on you when you enter Egypt. And you will become a curse, an object of horror, an imprecation and a reproach; and you will see this place no more.”

예레미야 42:19

KRV 유다의 남은 자들아 여호와께서 너희 일로 하신 말씀에 너희는 애굽으로 가지 말라 하셨고 나도 오늘날 너희에게 경계한 것을 너희는 분명히 알라0% 차이

NIV “Remnant of Judah, the LORD has told you, ‘Do not go to Egypt.’ Be sure of this: I warn you today

NKRV 유다의 남은 자들아 여호와께서 너희를 두고 하신 말씀에 너희는 애굽으로 가지 말라 하셨고 나도 오늘 너희에게 경고한 것을 너희는 분명히 알라19% 차이

ESV The LORD has said to you, O remnant of Judah, ‘Do not go to Egypt.’ Know for a certainty that I have warned you this day

예레미야 42:20

KRV 너희가 나를 너희 하나님 여호와께 보내며 이르기를 우리를 위하여 우리 하나님 여호와께 기도하고 우리 하나님 여호와께서 말씀하신 대로 우리에게 고하라 우리가 이를 행하리라 하여 너희 마음을 속였느니라0% 차이

NIV that you made a fatal mistake when you sent me to the LORD your God and said, ‘Pray to the LORD our God for us; tell us everything he says and we will do it.’

ESV that you have gone astray at the cost of your lives. For you sent me to the LORD your God, saying, ‘Pray for us to the LORD our God, and whatever the LORD our God says, declare to us and we will do it.’

NASB95 For you have only deceived yourselves; for it is you who sent me to the LORD your God, saying, “Pray for us to the LORD our God; and whatever the LORD our God says, tell us so, and we will do it.”

예레미야 42:21

KRV 너희 하나님 여호와께서 나를 보내사 너희에게 명하신 말씀을 내가 오늘날 너희에게 고하였어도 너희가 그 목소리를 도무지 순종치 아니하였은즉0% 차이

NIV I have told you today, but you still have not obeyed the LORD your God in all he sent me to tell you.

NKRV 너희 하나님 여호와께서 나를 보내사 너희에게 명하신 말씀을 내가 오늘 너희에게 전하였어도 너희가 너희 하나님 여호와의 목소리를 도무지 순종하지 아니하였은즉26% 차이

ESV And I have this day declared it to you, but you have not obeyed the voice of the LORD your God in anything that he sent me to tell you.

NASB95 So I have told you today, but you have not obeyed the LORD your God, even in whatever He has sent me to tell you.

예레미야 42:22

KRV 너희가 가서 우거하려 하는 곳에서 칼과 기근과 염병에 죽을줄 분명히 알찌니라0% 차이

NIV So now, be sure of this: You will die by the sword, famine and plague in the place where you want to go to settle.”

NKRV 너희가 가서 머물려고 하는 곳에서 칼과 기근과 전염병에 죽을 줄 분명히 알지니라39% 차이

ESV Now therefore know for a certainty that you shall die by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence in the place where you desire to go to live.”

NASB95 Therefore you should now clearly understand that you will die by the sword, by famine and by pestilence, in the place where you wish to go to reside.

두려워서 피하면 피하지 못한다. 두려워도 하나님을 의지하여 그곳에 거하면 하나님이 막아주신다. 

우리는 우리의 마음을 속이는 경우가 있다. 하나님의 말씀대로 하겠다고 말하지만 전제는 "내 뜻과 같은 하나님의 말씀대로 순종하겠다"는 것이다. 하나님의 뜻은 나의 뜻과 다르다. 아마 거의 다를것이다. 그렇다면 나는 내 마음과 내 뜻대로 사는 것을 포기해야 할것이다. 그리고 하나님의 말씀에 순종하는 삶을 살아야 할 것이다. 

⁴  내가 사망의 음침한 골짜기로 다닐찌라도 해를 두려워하지 않을 것은 주께서 나와 함께 하심이라 주의 지팡이와 막대기가 나를 안위하시나이다
