NIV Jeremiah the prophet and said to him, “Please hear our petition and pray to the LORD your God for this entire remnant. For as you now see, though we were once many, now only a few are left.

KRV 선지자 예레미야가 그들에게 이르되 내가 너희 말을 들었은즉 너희 말대로 너희 하나님 여호와께 기도하고 무릇 여호와께서 너희에게 응답하시는 것을 숨김이 없이 너희에게 고하리라0% 차이

NIV “I have heard you,” replied Jeremiah the prophet. “I will certainly pray to the LORD your God as you have requested; I will tell you everything the LORD says and will keep nothing back from you.”

KRV 그들이 예레미야에게 이르되 우리가 당신의 하나님 여호와께서 당신을 보내사 우리에게 이르시는 모든 말씀대로 행하리이다 여호와는 우리 중에 진실 무망한 증인이 되시옵소서0% 차이

예레미야 42:6

KRV 우리가 당신을 우리 하나님 여호와께 보냄은 그의 목소리가 우리에게 좋고 좋지 아니함을 물론하고 청종하려 함이라 우리가 우리 하나님 여호와의 목소리를 청종하면 우리에게 복이 있으리이다0% 차이

NIV Whether it is favorable or unfavorable, we will obey the LORD our God, to whom we are sending you, so that it will go well with us, for we will obey the LORD our God.”

KRV 너희가 이 땅에 여전히 거하면 내가 너희를 세우고 헐지 아니하며 너희를 심고 뽑지 아니하리니 이는 내가 너희에게 내린 재앙에 대하여 뜻을 돌이킴이니라0% 차이

NIV ‘If you stay in this land, I will build you up and not tear you down; I will plant you and not uproot you, for I have relented concerning the disaster I have inflicted on you.

NIV Do not be afraid of the king of Babylon, whom you now fear. Do not be afraid of him, declares the LORD, for I am with you and will save you and deliver you from his hands.

예레미야 42:12

NIV I will show you compassion so that he will have compassion on you and restore you to your land.’

백성들이 나와서 예레이먀에게 말하였다. 하나님께서 마땅히 갈 길과 할 일을 보여달라고... 문득 시드기야의 기도 부탁이 생각났다.

하나님께서 말씀하시기를 남은 자들은 이곳에 남아서 살라고 말씀하신다. 그리고 이들이 염두에 두었던 애굽으로 내려가지 말라고 말씀하시고, 이 말에 불순종하여 애굽으로 내려간다면 잘못될것이라고 말씀하신다.

과연 하나님께서 마땅히 갈 길과 할 일을 보여주셨는데... 여기에 이스라엘 백성들은 순종할 것인다... 

나는 어떠한가 ... 마땅히 갈 길을 가고, 할 일을 하는가...
