예레미야 31:1

KRV 나 여호와가 말하노라 그 때에 내가 이스라엘 모든 가족의 하나님이 되고 그들은 내 백성이 되리라0% 차이

NIV “At that time,” declares the LORD, “I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they will be my people.”

NIV This is what the LORD says: “The people who survive the sword will find favor in the wilderness; I will come to give rest to Israel.”

NIV The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.

NIV I will build you up again, and you, Virgin Israel, will be rebuilt. Again you will take up your timbrels and go out to dance with the joyful.

KRV 네가 다시 사마리아 산들에 포도원을 심되 심는 자가 심고 그 과실을 먹으리라0% 차이

NIV Again you will plant vineyards on the hills of Samaria; the farmers will plant them and enjoy their fruit.

KRV 에브라임 산 위에서 파숫군이 외치는 날이 이를 것이라 이르기를 너희는 일어나라 우리가 시온에 올라가서 우리 하나님 여호와께로 나아가자 하리라0% 차이

NIV There will be a day when watchmen cry out on the hills of Ephraim, ‘Come, let us go up to Zion, to the LORD our God.’ ”

ESV For there shall be a day when watchmen will call in the hill country of Ephraim: ‘Arise, and let us go up to Zion, to the LORD our God.’ ”

NIV This is what the LORD says: “Sing with joy for Jacob; shout for the foremost of the nations. Make your praises heard, and say, ‘LORD, save your people, the remnant of Israel.’

ESV For thus says the LORD: “Sing aloud with gladness for Jacob, and raise shouts for the chief of the nations; proclaim, give praise, and say, ‘O LORD, save your people, the remnant of Israel.’

예레미야 31:8

KRV 보라 내가 그들을 북편 땅에서 인도하며 땅 끝에서부터 모으리니 그들 중에는 소경과 절뚝발이와 잉태한 여인과 해산하는 여인이 함께 하여 큰 무리를 이루어 이곳으로 돌아오되0% 차이

NIV See, I will bring them from the land of the north and gather them from the ends of the earth. Among them will be the blind and the lame, expectant mothers and women in labor; a great throng will return.

ESV Behold, I will bring them from the north country and gather them from the farthest parts of the earth, among them the blind and the lame, the pregnant woman and she who is in labor, together; a great company, they shall return here.

예레미야 31:9

KRV 울며 올 것이며 그들이 나의 인도함을 입고 간구할 때에 내가 그들로 넘어지지 아니하고 하숫가의 바른 길로 행하게 하리라 나는 이스라엘의 아비요 에브라임은 나의 장자니라0% 차이

NIV They will come with weeping; they will pray as I bring them back. I will lead them beside streams of water on a level path where they will not stumble, because I am Israel’s father, and Ephraim is my firstborn son.

ESV With weeping they shall come, and with pleas for mercy I will lead them back, I will make them walk by brooks of water, in a straight path in which they shall not stumble, for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.

이스라엘 백성들이 자신들의 죄악됨으로 타국에서 포로 생활을 하다가 다시 귀환하게 될 것을 예언하고 있다. 그런데 이것이 하나님께서 무궁한 사랑으로 그들을 인도한 것이라고 말한다. 

이제는 이성적으로는 이해가 된다. 하나님께서 자신들의 백성들이 죄악 가운데 계속 거하지 않도록 징계하시며 깨닫게 하시는 것이 참 사랑이다 라고 이해는 된다.

그러나 여전히 나는 징계받고 싶지 않다. 포로로 끌려가 처절한 삶을 살아가고 싶지 않다.

결국 그렇다면 답은 죄에서 돌이킴, 회개, 공의의 하나님에 대한 두려움과 그것을 넘어선 그리스도의 십자가를 매일 기억하며 살아가야 할 것이다.

오늘도 죄인들의 길에 서지 아니하고 오만한자들의 자리에 앉지 아니하고 오직 여호와의 말씀을 즐거워 하여 그 율법을 주야로 묵상하게 하소서!
