KRV 그들이 두루마리를 서기관 엘리사마의 방에 두고 뜰에 들어가 왕께 나아가서 이 모든 말로 왕의 귀에 고하니0% 차이

NIV Also tell Jehoiakim king of Judah, ‘This is what the LORD says: You burned that scroll and said, “Why did you write on it that the king of Babylon would certainly come and destroy this land and wipe from it both man and beast?”

NIV Therefore this is what the LORD says about Jehoiakim king of Judah: He will have no one to sit on the throne of David; his body will be thrown out and exposed to the heat by day and the frost by night.

NIV So Jeremiah took another scroll and gave it to the scribe Baruch son of Neriah, and as Jeremiah dictated, Baruch wrote on it all the words of the scroll that Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire. And many similar words were added to them.

예레미야와 바룩을 통해서 두루마리로 적혀진 하나님의 말씀을 방백들이 왕에게 전달하였다. 이 말씀을 읽은 왕 여호야김은 칼로 두루마리를 자르고 불태워버린다.

이것에 대해서 성경은 "왕과 그 신하들이 이 모든 말을 듣고도 두려워하거나 그 옷을 찢지 아니하였고"라고 증언한다,.

하나님의 말씀을 듣고도 두려운 마음도 없고... 회개하지도 않았다.... 오히려 그들은 분을 내며 하나님의 말씀을 자르고... 불태워버렸다....

거기에 더 나아가 선지자들을 죽이려고 하였으니, 하나님께서 그들을 숨기셨다.

죄를 짓고 회개하지 않으면 더 큰 죄를 짖게 된다. 그리고 돌이킬수 없는 상황에 이르르게 된다.

돌이켜야 할 때 돌이키지 않으면 돌이킬수 없는 상황이 온다....

하나님은 이들에게 그 전의 말씀을 동일하게 주시고, 더하여 더 많은 저주를 내리신다.

하나님의 말씀을 듣고 난 후 나의 반응은 어떠한가? 하나님의 말씀을 두려워하지도 않고, 회개하지도 않은채... 하나님의 말씀을 자르고 불태워 버리지 않는가....

돌이키자... 돌이키자... 돌이켜야 할 때 돌이키지 않으면 돌이킬 수 없는 상황이 도래하며... 저주위의 저주가 더 할 것이다...
