‎²⁴ וַיָּבֵ֣א מֶֽלֶךְ־אַשּׁ֡וּר מִבָּבֶ֡ל וּ֠מִכּוּ֠תָה וּמֵעַוָּ֤א וּמֵֽחֲמָת֙ וּסְפַרְוַ֔יִם וַ֙יֹּשֶׁב֙ בְּעָרֵ֣י שֹֽׁמְר֔וֹן תַּ֖חַת בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וַיִּֽרְשׁוּ֙ אֶת־שֹׁ֣מְר֔וֹן וַיֵּֽשְׁב֖וּ בְּעָרֶֽיהָ׃

 ²⁵ וַיְהִ֗י בִּתְחִלַּת֙ שִׁבְתָּ֣ם שָׁ֔ם לֹ֥א יָרְא֖וּ אֶת־יְהוָ֑ה וַיְשַׁלַּ֙ח יְהוָ֤ה בָּהֶם֙ אֶת־הָ֣אֲרָי֔וֹת וַיִּֽהְי֥וּ הֹרְגִ֖ים בָּהֶֽם׃

 ²⁶ וַיֹּאמְר֗וּ לְמֶ֣לֶךְ אַשּׁוּר֘ לֵאמֹר֒ הַגּוֹיִ֗ם אֲשֶׁ֤ר הִגְלִ֙יתָ֙ וַתּוֹ֙שֶׁב֙ בְּעָרֵ֣י שֹׁמְר֔וֹן לֹ֣א יָֽדְע֔וּ אֶת־מִשְׁפַּ֖ט אֱלֹהֵ֣י הָאָ֑רֶץ וַיְשַׁלַּח־בָּ֣ם אֶת־הָאֲרָי֗וֹת וְהִנָּם֙ מְמִיתִ֣ים אוֹתָ֔ם כַּאֲשֶׁר֙ אֵינָ֣ם יֹדְעִ֔ים אֶת־מִשְׁפַּ֖ט אֱלֹהֵ֥י הָאָֽרֶץ׃

 ²⁷ וַיְצַ֙ו מֶֽלֶךְ־אַשּׁ֜וּר לֵאמֹ֗ר הֹלִ֤יכוּ שָׁ֙מָּה֙ אֶחָ֤ד מֵהַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הִגְלִיתֶ֣ם מִשָּׁ֔ם וְיֵלְכ֖וּ וְיֵ֣שְׁבוּ שָׁ֑ם וְיֹרֵ֕ם אֶת־מִשְׁפַּ֖ט אֱלֹהֵ֥י הָאָֽרֶץ׃

 ²⁸ וַיָּבֹ֞א אֶחָ֣ד מֵהַכֹּהֲנִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֤ר הִגְלוּ֙ מִשֹּׁ֣מְר֔וֹן וַיֵּ֖שֶׁב בְּבֵֽית־אֵ֑ל וַֽיְהִי֙ מוֹרֶ֣ה אֹתָ֔ם אֵ֖יךְ יִֽירְא֥וּ אֶת־יְהוָֽה׃

 ²⁹ וַיִּהְי֣וּ עֹשִׂ֔ים גּ֥וֹי גּ֖וֹי אֱלֹהָ֑יו וַיַּנִּ֣יחוּ׀ בְּבֵ֣ית הַבָּמ֗וֹת אֲשֶׁ֤ר עָשׂוּ֙ הַשֹּׁ֣מְרֹנִ֔ים גּ֥וֹי גּוֹי֙ בְּעָ֣רֵיהֶ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֛ר הֵ֥ם יֹשְׁבִ֖ים שָֽׁם׃

 ³⁰ וְאַנְשֵׁ֣י בָבֶ֗ל עָשׂוּ֙ אֶת־סֻכּ֣וֹת בְּנ֔וֹת וְאַנְשֵׁי־כ֔וּת עָשׂ֖וּ אֶת־נֵֽרְגַ֑ל וְאַנְשֵׁ֥י חֲמָ֖ת עָשׂ֥וּ אֶת־אֲשִׁימָֽא׃

 ³¹ וְהָעַוִּ֛ים עָשׂ֥וּ נִבְחַ֖ז וְאֶת־תַּרְתָּ֑ק וְהַסְפַרְוִ֗ים שֹׂרְפִ֤ים אֶת־בְּנֵיהֶם֙ בָּאֵ֔שׁ לְאַדְרַמֶּ֥לֶךְ וַֽעֲנַמֶּ֖לֶךְ (אֱלֹהַּ) [אֱלֹהֵ֥י] (סְפָרִים) [סְפַרְוָֽיִם]׃

 ³² וַיִּהְי֥וּ יְרֵאִ֖ים אֶת־יְהוָ֑ה וַיַּעֲשׂ֙וּ לָהֶ֤ם מִקְצוֹתָם֙ כֹּהֲנֵ֣י בָמ֔וֹת וַיִּהְי֛וּ עֹשִׂ֥ים לָהֶ֖ם בְּבֵ֥ית הַבָּמֽוֹת׃

 ³³ אֶת־יְהוָ֖ה הָי֣וּ יְרֵאִ֑ים וְאֶת־אֱלֹֽהֵיהֶם֙ הָי֣וּ עֹֽבְדִ֔ים כְּמִשְׁפַּט֙ הַגּוֹיִ֔ם אֲשֶׁר־הִגְל֥וּ אֹתָ֖ם מִשָּֽׁם׃

 ³⁴ עַ֣ד הַיּ֤וֹם הַזֶּה֙ הֵ֣ם עֹשִׂ֔ים כַּמִּשְׁפָּטִ֖ים הָרִֽאשֹׁנִ֑ים אֵינָ֤ם יְרֵאִים֙ אֶת־יְהוָ֔ה וְאֵינָ֣ם עֹשִׂ֗ים כְּחֻקֹּתָם֙ וּכְמִשְׁפָּטָ֔ם וְכַתּוֹרָ֣ה וְכַמִּצְוָ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֙ר צִוָּ֤ה יְהוָה֙ אֶת־בְּנֵ֣י יַעֲקֹ֔ב אֲשֶׁר־שָׂ֥ם שְׁמ֖וֹ יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

 ³⁵ וַיִּכְרֹ֙ת יְהוָ֤ה אִתָּם֙ בְּרִ֔ית וַיְצַוֵּ֣ם לֵאמֹ֔ר לֹ֥א תִֽירְא֖וּ אֱלֹהִ֣ים אֲחֵרִ֑ים וְלֹא־תִשְׁתַּחֲו֣וּ לָהֶ֔ם וְלֹ֣א תַעַבְד֔וּם וְלֹ֥א תִזְבְּח֖וּ לָהֶֽם׃

 ³⁶ כִּ֣י אִֽם־אֶת־יְהוָ֗ה אֲשֶׁר֩ הֶעֱלָ֙ה אֶתְכֶ֜ם מֵאֶ֧רֶץ מִצְרַ֛יִם בְּכֹ֧חַ גָּד֛וֹל וּבִזְר֥וֹעַ נְטוּיָ֖ה אֹת֣וֹ תִירָ֑אוּ וְל֥וֹ תִֽשְׁתַּחֲו֖וּ וְל֥וֹ תִזְבָּֽחוּ׃

 ³⁷ וְאֶת־הַחֻקִּ֙ים וְאֶת־הַמִּשְׁפָּטִ֜ים וְהַתּוֹרָ֤ה וְהַמִּצְוָה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר כָּתַ֣ב לָכֶ֔ם תִּשְׁמְר֥וּן לַעֲשׂ֖וֹת כָּל־הַיָּמִ֑ים וְלֹ֥א תִֽירְא֖וּ אֱלֹהִ֥ים אֲחֵרִֽים׃

 ³⁸ וְהַבְּרִ֛ית אֲשֶׁר־כָּרַ֥תִּי אִתְּכֶ֖ם לֹ֣א תִשְׁכָּ֑חוּ וְלֹ֥א תִֽירְא֖וּ אֱלֹהִ֥ים אֲחֵרִֽים׃

 ³⁹ כִּ֛י אִֽם־אֶת־יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֖ם תִּירָ֑אוּ וְהוּא֙ יַצִּ֣יל אֶתְכֶ֔ם מִיַּ֖ד כָּל־אֹיְבֵיכֶֽם׃

 ⁴⁰ וְלֹ֖א שָׁמֵ֑עוּ כִּ֛י אִֽם־כְּמִשְׁפָּטָ֥ם הָֽרִאשׁ֖וֹן הֵ֥ם עֹשִֽׂים׃

 ⁴¹ וַיִּהְי֣וּ׀ הַגּוֹיִ֣ם הָאֵ֗לֶּה יְרֵאִים֙ אֶת־יְהוָ֔ה וְאֶת־פְּסִֽילֵיהֶ֖ם הָי֣וּ עֹֽבְדִ֑ים גַּם־בְּנֵיהֶ֣ם׀ וּבְנֵ֣י בְנֵיהֶ֗ם כַּאֲשֶׁ֙ר עָשׂ֤וּ אֲבֹתָם֙ הֵ֣ם עֹשִׂ֔ים עַ֖ד הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃ פ

 ²⁴ And the king of Assyria brought people from Babylon, Cuthah, Avva, Hamath, and Sepharvaim, and placed them in the cities of Samaria instead of the people of Israel. And they took possession of Samaria and lived in its cities.

 ²⁵ And at the beginning of their dwelling there, they did not fear the LORD. Therefore the LORD sent lions among them, which killed some of them.

 ²⁶ So the king of Assyria was told, "The nations that you have carried away and placed in the cities of Samaria do not know the law of the god of the land. Therefore he has sent lions among them, and behold, they are killing them, because they do not know the law of the god of the land."

 ²⁷ Then the king of Assyria commanded, "Send there one of the priests whom you carried away from there, and let him go and dwell there and teach them the law of the god of the land."

 ²⁸ So one of the priests whom they had carried away from Samaria came and lived in Bethel and taught them how they should fear the LORD.

 ²⁹ But every nation still made gods of its own and put them in the shrines of the high places that the Samaritans had made, every nation in the cities in which they lived.

 ³⁰ The men of Babylon made Succoth-benoth, the men of Cuth made Nergal, the men of Hamath made Ashima,

 ³¹ and the Avvites made Nibhaz and Tartak; and the Sepharvites burned their children in the fire to Adrammelech and Anammelech, the gods of Sepharvaim.

 ³² They also feared the LORD and appointed from among themselves all sorts of people as priests of the high places, who sacrificed for them in the shrines of the high places.

 ³³ So they feared the LORD but also served their own gods, after the manner of the nations from among whom they had been carried away.

 ³⁴ To this day they do according to the former manner. They do not fear the LORD, and they do not follow the statutes or the rules or the law or the commandment that the LORD commanded the children of Jacob, whom he named Israel.

 ³⁵ The LORD made a covenant with them and commanded them, "You shall not fear other gods or bow yourselves to them or serve them or sacrifice to them,

 ³⁶ but you shall fear the LORD, who brought you out of the land of Egypt with great power and with an outstretched arm. You shall bow yourselves to him, and to him you shall sacrifice.

 ³⁷ And the statutes and the rules and the law and the commandment that he wrote for you, you shall always be careful to do. You shall not fear other gods,

 ³⁸ and you shall not forget the covenant that I have made with you. You shall not fear other gods,

 ³⁹ but you shall fear the LORD your God, and he will deliver you out of the hand of all your enemies."

 ⁴⁰ However, they would not listen, but they did according to their former manner.

 ⁴¹ So these nations feared the LORD and also served their carved images. Their children did likewise, and their children's children-- as their fathers did, so they do to this day.

²⁴ 앗수르 왕이 바벨론과 구다와 아와와 하맛과 스발와임에서 사람을 옮겨다가 이스라엘 자손을 대신하여 사마리아 여러 성읍에 두매 저희가 사마리아를 차지하여 그 여러 성읍에 거하니라

 ²⁵ 저희가 처음으로 거기 거할 때에 여호와를 경외치 아니한고로 여호와께서 사자들을 그 가운데 보내시매 몇 사람을 죽인지라

 ²⁶ 그러므로 혹이 앗수르 왕에게 고하여 가로되 왕께서 사마리아 여러 성읍에 옮겨 거하게 하신 열방 사람이 그 땅 신의 법을 알지 못하므로 그 신이 사자들을 저희 가운데 보내매 저희를 죽였사오니 이는 저희가 그 땅 신의 법을 알지 못함이니이다

 ²⁷ 앗수르 왕이 명하여 가로되 너희는 그곳에서 사로잡아 온 제사장 하나를 그곳으로 데려가되 저로 그곳에 가서 거하며 그 땅 신의 법으로 무리에게 가르치게 하라

 ²⁸ 이에 사마리아에서 사로잡혀간 제사장 중 하나가 와서 벧엘에 거하며 백성에게 어떻게 여호와 경외할 것을 가르쳤더라

 ²⁹ 그러나 각 민족이 각기 자기의 신상들을 만들어 사마리아 사람의 지은 여러 산당에 두되 각 민족이 자기의 거한 성읍에서 그렇게 하여

 ³⁰ 바벨론 사람들은 숙곳브놋 을 만들었고 굿 사람들은 네르갈 을 만들었고 하맛 사람들은 아시마 를 만들었고

 ³¹ 아와 사람들은 닙하스 와 다르닥 을 만들었고 스발와임 사람들은 그 자녀를 불살라 그 신 아드람멜렉 과 아남멜렉 에게 드렸으며

 ³² 저희가 또 여호와를 경외하여 자기 중에서 사람을 산당의 제사장으로 택하여 그 산당에서 자기를 위하여 제사를 드리게 하니라

 ³³ 이와 같이 저희가 여호와도 경외하고 또한 어디서부터 옮겨왔든지 그 민족의 풍속대로 자기의 신들도 섬겼더라

 ³⁴ 저희가 오늘까지 이전 풍속대로 행하여 여호와를 경외치 아니하며 또 여호와께서 이스라엘이라 이름을 주신 야곱의 자손에게 명하신 율례와 법도와 율법과 계명을 준행치 아니하는도다

 ³⁵ 옛적에 여호와께서 야곱의 자손에게 언약을 세우시고 저희에게 명하여 가라사대 너희는 다른 신을 경외하지 말며 그를 숭배하지 말며 그를 섬기지 말며 그에게 제사하지 말고

 ³⁶ 오직 큰 능력과 편 팔로 너희를 애굽에서 인도하여 낸 여호와만 너희가 경외하여 그를 숭배하며 그에게 제사를 드릴 것이며

 ³⁷ 또 여호와가 너희를 위하여 기록한 율례와 법도와 율법과 계명을 너희가 지켜 영원히 행하고 다른 신들을 경외치 말며

 ³⁸ 또 내가 너희와 세운 언약을 잊지 말며 다른 신들을 경외치 말고

 ³⁹ 오직 너희 하나님 여호와를 경외하라 그가 너희를 모든 원수의 손에서 건져내리라 하셨으나

 ⁴⁰ 그러나 저희가 듣지 아니하고 오히려 이전 풍속대로 행하였느니라

 ⁴¹ 그 여러 민족이 여호와를 경외하고 또 그 아로새긴 우상을 섬기더니 그 자자 손손이 그 열조의 행한 것을 좇아 오늘까지 그대로 하니라 (2 Ki. 17:24-41 KRV)

하나님의 통치 안에서 살아가기 위해서는 하나님의 말씀안에 거하는 삶이 필수적이다. 이방인일지라도 하나님의 통치 안에 살아가기 위해서는 하나님의 말씀을 순종해야한다.

과연 나는 얼마나 하나님의 말씀안에 거하며 살아가는가... 

하나님의 통치 안에 살아가고 있는 것인가... 내가 주인이 되어 살아가고 있는것인가....

모르고 지은죄는 어찌할 수 없더라도... 하나님을 아는 지금... 다시금 하나님의 말씀대로 살기로 다짐해본다!
